February 4, 200422 yr Hi,There is no such thing as the 'best' VA.Just ask yourself the question what kind of aircraft you would like to fly, where you would like to fly, how long each flight should take. Also do you find a lively forum important, or that you see a lot of fellow pilots online. If you have answered those questions and maybe other questions, I'm confident that there are at least 10 'best' VA's that meet your requirements. My 2 cents,Egbert Location: Vleuten, The Netherlands, 17.3dme SPL 108.40 | Simulator: FS2024 System: AMD 7800X3D - Gigabyte X670 - RTX 4090 - 64GB DDR5 - 2 x 2TB SSD - 32" 1440p Display - Windows 11 Pro
February 4, 200422 yr I disagree. There is one VA on the internet that is in a class above the rest. With more flight flown by it's pilots every month that most VAs receive in a lifetime. With forums more active than any other VA. With more features and resources than any other VA. I know many of you may disagree but there is one VA on the internet that stands out above all the rest. Nothing has come close and nothing ever will. There is one VA that is larger, more popular and yes, better, than every other VA out there. I'm not saying other VAs aren't good but there is a best VA on the net and it's called Livewire Airlines!!http://www.livewireairlines.com
February 5, 200422 yr Also, don't forget to check out Serverinfo to see which VA's are really active on Vatsim.Mark.UPS1006BAW054 Mark CYYZ
February 5, 200422 yr Yes, you're totally right, I'm very sorry.Livewire Airlines is the best of the best, leaving all others in the darkness of their shadow. Zo, en nu eerst een Bavaria. February 5, 200422 yr Which is better, Ford or Chevrolet? You'll get equal amounts of answers. Same goes for your question. YOU have to narrow it down by YOUR flying preferences. Heavies, commuters, and bush are the usual choices. You have real-world labels and fictional. You have some very structured with requirements, while others are more relaxed. You also have to pick an area to fly that will make you happy. You will find a VA of some sort for nearly every corner of the world. But do yourself a favor and pick one that has all of the above things more or less to your liking. If you want to fly commuters, don't join a VA that only has 747's, and vice-versa. Do your research on all of the above items, and I am sure you will make a good decision. You may end up as many, and fly for a few of them because of their diversity. That can be fun too. Another, and final point I almost forgot is to figure out just how much time you have per day, week, or month you have to fly. Then base it on all of the above.Don
