Can you play multiplayer games over the internet via a proxy using Flight Sim 2002. Also, can Roger Wilco be used via a proxy?ThanksP

Have tried this before but you cannot run games on proxy servers AFAIK. My experience is with the VATSIM network. RW also does not have any connection variable to run through proxy servers.Shez

I have now installed Roger Wilco but have not at this stage attempted to use it and have not even tried to connect to the voice server.Actually, although I can find some good tutorials regarding online flying with Squarkbox , I have no been able to find one about how to use Roger Wilco in conjunction with Squarkbox.Barry

As you have already installed RW, go through the set up of your mic etc.Just as you have done with text only flying, when have initialised SB and are ready to connect, the 'connect' window has a small checkbox which has "use Roger Wilco voice". Check this and when you fly and contact the controller and double click his callsign in the ATC window (and he is a 'voice' controller), your RW will automatically turn on and go to the voice ip of the controller and you should begin to hear him talking to other a/c. One other point, in your config setup for RW uncheck the "voice activated mic" and use the 'key' method. I usually assign scroll lock, so that I push 'scroll lock' every time I want to talk.Have fun and there is nothing like voice flying...Shez

Try www.rogerwilko.gamespy.comThere is a lot of advice there about using RW with a proxy and links to MS about playing games through a proxy.
