November 13, 200223 yr As I did over at Flightsimnetwork, I'll strongly second that with a "HEAR HEAR". Great job!Dave
November 13, 200223 yr For me, the Robin seems the perfect example of "virtual everything"... And for people who want more background on the Robin, here's an interesting link I found:http://www.todayspilot.co.uk/flight_tests/july01/1p1.htmlI wonder how many Robins made it over to the States, and are flying?-John
November 13, 200223 yr Great visual model, great VC, great flight dynamics... This aircraft is payware quality, and I assume the FSDS2 version will be even better. Thanks a lot Robin-team!- Oyvind
November 13, 200223 yr Hi,yes this is a great aircraft. I often fly with it in real life. There are a lot in France. I believe it is the most numerous type in french flying schools. As you said it is a pity it is not exported a lot.The french governments do Nothing to help small general aviation manufacturers. And moreover we are under the impression that in France, general aviation pilots are a bit ill-treated by the governments. If you don't know, the Robin manufacturer is actually struggling for survival. It is indeed near bankrupcy. But this leaves the gov. indifferent. Flying school will have just the choice of old Cessnas or Piper in the near future. Really a shame! Minos
November 13, 200223 yr Just a pity it ain't a gmax model... :-(On the preview shots a couple of months ago it seemed to me like it was gmax, but however, great work! :D
November 13, 200223 yr It sure looks as nice as a GMAX model though. I actually prefer the way reflections were handled for the glass...it really adds depth to the aircraft.Yannick mentions that the aircraft may be converted to FSDS 2... That'll be something else!
November 13, 200223 yr >Yannick mentions that the aircraft may be converted to FSDS >2... That'll be something else! Ya really? Now that's kinda cool! :-sun1
