Thanks for your hard work. A couple of Qs:It appears from your guide that you used XP as your test platform. Have you looked at all at Win9X?I ask mainly because it seems most Win9X GF3 users who have issues have been going to the 30.82 drivers. Any experience with these on Win9X?scott s..

Please send me a copy as well. [email protected]

Got the guide Andrew after you mentioned it was on avsim. An excellent piece of work and very professional IMO, very clear and straightforward.I do have one problem though which I have e-mailed you about, but you may wish to address it here, or soemone else may have the answer. You say to unzip the 29.42 drivers to a temp folder so that nv4_disp.dll can be patched - I can't do that :-(My 29.42 drivers are an exe file and if I ask powerarchiver to unzip them it tells me the file is not a valid self-extracting file so will not unzip it.If I run the exe file it does the full install, if it does unzip the files first then it must be to temp folder which it then clears because I can find no trace of the files.I have also searched the whole of C: drive for nv4_disp.dll, nowhere to be found, nor does it show under the GeForce3 Ti200 tab in display settings.Any idea how I can either get to this file or another way to unzip the 29.42 driver to a temp folder? Thanks

Simple problem. If you're using Windows XP, and I suspect its the same for all the other operating systems, the nv4_disp.dll is stored in the WindowsSystem32 folder.I use either WinAce or WinRAR as my archiving software and all I have to do is right-click on the executable file I downloaded and then select "Extract files" from the pop-up that appears. I can then specify exactly where I want the files extracted to; usually a temporary folder. I'm pretty sure PowerArchiver can do the same.If you can't do that, you can go ahead and install the drivers, then patch them directly by pointing Riva Tuner to the WindowsSystem32 folder. This method eliminates the need to extract the files to a temporary folder.

If you could add me to your list so we can add it to the Flight Sim Veterans Tips and Tricks database for future reference if that's ok?Cheers and TIA [email protected]? We don't need no stinkin' banners!---Visualize ProjectAI sig banner here.

Would you please send me a copy?Thank [email protected]

If you could add me to the ever expanding list, that'd be great. I've tried Riva Tuner but doesn't seem to have much of an effect.Email: [email protected],Adam Nardone

Hi,Info with respect to the last few posts. Thanks for your interest in the guide. As stated previously in this post the guide is freely available for download in the AVSIM file library - (and its doing rather well). You can either search under bgttv1.zip or under my surname "Tingle" to see my other files if interested (splash screens and wallpapers).Once again, thank you very much for your interest.Andrew
