October 3, 200619 yr Moderator Hi there,I'm in the market for a new rig as well. I was just wondering about FS2004 performance per the chart you posted in another thread. Don't get me wrong, I'm getting kinda old and can't keep up with all the technology goodies ;-), but how is it that your system gets such great performance with FS2004 when FS2004 doesn't support dual CPU's(at least that's what I thought)?I'm waiting to get pricing for an almost identical system as yours, hope it won't break my budget..Cheers,Petehttp://members.aol.com/pzsoulman/myhomepage/logo.gifAMD64-3400,1GB/3200DDRAM,WinXP(SP2),DirectX9.0c,Geforce6800(128MB)(Det.84.21), CH Yoke/Pedals I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11

October 3, 200619 yr Moderator Thanks Miquel, that is certainly encouraging. I'm looking forward to receive some pricing info from 2 vendors I contacted. Then I only have to sell my wife on it ;-)I just want to make sure that both FS9 and FSX will run smoothly as I'll probably use FS9 for "serious" simming until all payware I own gets updated for FSX, which will probably take a while.Cheers,Petehttp://members.aol.com/pzsoulman/myhomepage/logo.gifAMD64-3400,1GB/3200DDRAM,WinXP(SP2),DirectX9.0c,Geforce6800(128MB)(Det.84.21), CH Yoke/Pedals I9-13900K, RTX 4090, DR5-6000MHZ, CORSAIR ICUE H150I ELITE, ASUS PRIME Z790-P, THERMALTAKE TOUGHPOWER GF3 1350W, WIN 11

October 13, 200619 yr this guy falsifies his fps for some reason, i guess he feels bad about blowinin all that money and only getting 15 to 25 fps. anyway i don't care what he does but don't use him as a guide for upgrade. see his post in screenshot forum.
