May 24, 200422 yr Hallo JimIn the past few weeks, I also had trouble with downloading "winds aloft".I fly with FS2002 and AS1.91 and reading the forums I knew that Damian was working on a fix. Now, I have install the update 1.92.02 and have tested two flightsENGM-ESSA and EGBB-EBBR and AS works perfect, also the "winds aloft".So, all I can say is "thank you" for the good work and I will recommend the update to all users.WillyBelgium
May 24, 200422 yr Thanks Willy!! Anyone else???Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
May 24, 200422 yr Hello JimI'm trying to install this update on a second computer that already has AS 2004 on it and running. I keep getting message saying that I must have a valid version installed before running update. Is this update compadable with FSWide?Bill M Bill McIntyre Asus StrixB650E-F Gamer, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Corsair Titanium DDR5 64GB, Samsung 990 PRO-4TB M.2, (4) 2TB SSD's, Corsair H1150i liquid cooler, RTX 2080TI Founders Edition, (2) LG 34" HD Curved Monitor, Sound Blaster Audigy X, 1Kw PC Power & Cooling Power Supply, Corsair Obsidian Full tower Case. May 25, 200422 yr Hi Bill,STOP TRYING, LOL. The update here is for wxRE users only, not AS2004 users! You know, Damian and I went back and forth a number of times about the naming of AS2004 vs. wxRE. At the time we really thought the names were unique enough so that users would be able to tell them apart. But alas, a week doesn't go by where, someone, somewhere, confuses the two. At least we know people are using our products AND are visiting this board looking for information and updates, and that is GREAT!:-jumpy:-jumpy:-jumpy:-jumpyHope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
May 25, 200422 yr Thanks for the reply. That's a good reason why it would not work. Quick question though. When I load a saved wx file into AS2004, Do I press the refresh button to get it to load into FS??Bill M Bill McIntyre Asus StrixB650E-F Gamer, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D, Corsair Titanium DDR5 64GB, Samsung 990 PRO-4TB M.2, (4) 2TB SSD's, Corsair H1150i liquid cooler, RTX 2080TI Founders Edition, (2) LG 34" HD Curved Monitor, Sound Blaster Audigy X, 1Kw PC Power & Cooling Power Supply, Corsair Obsidian Full tower Case. May 25, 200422 yr If the saved wx is the first weather loaded, then no. But if it isn't, then yes.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
May 26, 200422 yr Hi Jim,Installed the update over 1.92 and was working good for a day. It has been intermittent now, seems to come and go through the day. Hope this helps. Off right now (May 26 1330Z).Ben
May 26, 200422 yr Hi Jim!I tested the update on 2 flights so far, ENBR-EKCH and EKCH-ESSA, both good aloft data wile inflight, also consistant with fsbuild2-predictions. But the wx briefing screen still shows no aloft data. At least I have consistent altitude winds in flight. Running FS2002, WinME and ASwxRE 1.92 with the latest beta. Hope this helps...Greetings,Hakan
