I bet I could show any one of my non-simming friends that first shot and they would have no doubt it was real. I had to stare at it a few time myself! I don't know how you guys keep up the pace you do, but I am one satisfied customer!!Neil :)

Well Damian which set you using, since you are gloating :)You guys should show with each shot which set you are using so people can actually try and mimic what they are seeing. At least I would like it :)Thanks for making me drool.RegardsTim

Hi Tim,Well those shots there were created with Random or Wx-Influenced themes. It's extremely hard to mimic any scenario due to the vast randomness and wx-condition influence in both the wx engine and ASG submit processes plus FS9's own randomness within cloud formations. But similar scenarios can easily be created. The biggest influence on your depiction will be the actual weather you're flying in.BTW Those shots were created by Chris Willis with contributions from Scott Gridley. Thanks guys!Best,

Hi Tim,I will try next time to write all these information. But do not forget that's ASV6 generate the clouds formation like below..And ASG change the texture for color and edge of the clouds. Many confuse clouds texture to Clouds formationshape.See these screenshots from below, they are differents from above. Differents clouds formation generated from ASV and Differents clouds Texture.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/139480.jpgThanksChris Willishttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpghttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-beta.jpg

Great shots. I know this has sort of been beaten to death but let me ask again :-)If I use ASG and select a theme, and submit to FS, then run AS and download WX with random weather theme set to submit to FS, will the theme I selected in ASG have any benefit or influence?Still a wee bit confused :-)Thanks really enjoying the productBill

Hi Bill,No, because the theme you used in ASG will be over-written. If you are going to Auto Submit any Full themes then there is no need to open ASG.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.comhttp://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6...development.jpg http://sales.hifisim.com/pub-download/asv6-banner-proud.jpg

Hi Bill,No problem! If you have auto-submit enabled, period, then all things done via the ASG interface will be over-written via auto-submits.Basically, auto-submit is an "alternative" to using the ASG interface. When enabled, it is simply opening up ASG, selecting the configured theme, and submitting it. It is designed for Wx-Influenced or Random themes but can easily use any other default or custom theme.Just remember when using ASG manually, to disable auto-submits. In the future we'll most likely provide an option to automatically disable auto-submit on manual submission, just to prevent any confusion about this.Best,

What is the difference between Random and Wx-influenced themes? I am currently using the auto-submit random. I have not tried the Wx-influenced.I asked a question just a few minutes ago regarding my AS settings. I want to make sure I have the right setup to make full use of these great themes. Thanks,

Hi Goran,No, I can't because I believe Chris took many of those, a long time ago! Even if he did remember, there is so much variation in conditions that it is almost impossible to repeat screenshots, even a day or two apart. I know from experience some of the best times for shots are at dawn/dusk.Hope this helps,Jimhttp://www.hifisim.com/Active Sky V6 Development TeamActive Sky V6 Proud SupporterHiFi Beta TeamRadar Contact Supporter
