TBM NEWBIE - Carrier questions please

Featured Replies

Hello,I have the new TBM - AWSOME!1. Are there more carriers in the package than the one in the flight selection?2. I have 3Wire in my FS9 sim. I tried the TBM but the catapult makes the TBM jump up and the TO is into the sea! Is there some setup for the TBM that I must do to use 3WIRE? The 3wire works fine with my other A/C(jets).Thanks in advance and cheers,Ron Sagel

Hi Ron,Sorry, I have no experience with 3WIRE and it was not tested by the team with the Turkey. Having made an agreement with Rob, Doug, and Pete, and finding the Carrier Operations Package not only suited all our needs, but worked great with the bird, we went no further. You are on your own there, test pilot!I don't know whether the two systems can co-exist, but some user out there probably does, most likely on another forum. There are no other carriers in our package, but if you install the COP on other flattops you have or downloaded, you should be able to use the Avenger on them, as well, since all the planes are already configured for it, even if you choose the Avenger Only installation option.COP comes already configured for two of these other third-party carriers - the HMNZS Waikato and the USS Saratoga. One of these days I mean to find time to try them out. Finally, our shipwright, Rob Cappers, has included the ability to move the Langley to other spots in the world in the original package and will be issuing instructions on that very soon. Wathc the new Avenger Free Stuff Pages for this and other goodies.http://www.maam.org/flightsim/enhance/tbm_enhance.htmBill RambowMAAM-SIM http://www.fssupport.com/maam/hgrsm_blkani.gif

Sorry. I have no idea - it's not one of our products.
