April 17, 200422 yr Ive just installed the new nvidia 56.64 drivers for my GeForce4Ti4200 card. They work great in FS2002 but in FS2004 I am getting black boxes around trees, houses, lights and the reg numbers on the default aircraft. How can I get rid of this as the sim is actually running slightly smoother. Thanks in advance,Richard
April 17, 200422 yr I had this happen too a while back but unfortunately I cannot remember what caused it and worse still how I fixed it. I think it was something as simple as a particular setting but I'm not sure now.
April 17, 200422 yr Try the new 60.72 drivers available herehttp://www.googlemaster.plus.com/60.72_winxp2k.exeBe warned they are a beta version . I'm using them with a Ti4200/128mb card and getting really good results( This with WinXP/FS2004).Dave
April 17, 200422 yr Author Hi Dave! Unfortunately the link does not work for me, it says the download does not exist. Can I get them from anywhere else?By the way will these work with windows ME?Richard
April 17, 200422 yr I've not seen NVidia drivers that can cover both ME and 2000/XP. I think it is likely that you will do best to search for NVidia on google, then look for their drivers site and when you are invited to give your card's model number and operating system you should be directed to the latest most suitable drivers for your system which you can download and install. I'm not sure about ME whether you need to uninstall older driver software but I'd advise you to try add/remove programs and if any NVidea items relating to your graphics card are shown then you can uninstall them before installing the new drivers. If you do uninstall, your screen resolution will appear very low resolution until you have installed and set a suitable resolution again.
April 17, 200422 yr Richard,Go to the main Guru3D site and scroll down the front page a bit to where it says 'Hot Downloads'From there select 'Forceware drivers' and the 60.72's are top of the list, these are Beta's and only for Win2k/XP.

April 18, 200422 yr Also for me under W98SE on 53.xx drivers, the different AA values have different results - some working, some not. I am currently using 4xAA.
