January 6, 200521 yr Author Well as of now I can't say I'm happy with their customer service. I waited 2 days for a reply to my email which asked me to call their 800 number if I had any more questions. Well... I called this morning the minute they opened. I kept redialing the phone untill their recorded "we're not open" message finished and another recording told me that "all agents are busy and one will be with me momentarily" Well I have been sitting here for over 90 minutes listening to their terrible music selection and have yet to hear a live human voice! By calling when I did there is no way their QUE was full and my waiting time should have never been this long,I should have been one of the first ones in the QUE! So all I can safely assume they ignore their phone lines.If anyone ever orders from them be aware that there is no "fast service" after the initial sale is done. So if you have a problem good luck! January 7, 200521 yr Author I must say I was really surprised this evening, to receive a phone call from Customer Service at Newegg . "William" appologized for my waiting time on the phone earlier today, and told me if I had anymore questions or problems to email him directly and he would reply to my emails ASAP or if I want he will phone me the same day.He told me that they received my dead CPU today, and will process the exchange in 24-48 hours unless there is a problem, in which case he will contact me. He also promised to keep me abreast of my RMA through personal emails.All I can say is Newegg just retained a customer, I was ready to swear them off, but now I'm satisfied with the personal contact and response to my complaint. Hopefully I will have my replacement $720 CPU sometime next week! January 14, 200521 yr Author OK! Got the CPU on Thursday, as promised. Popped that little sucker in and booted up the computer. Looks like it is working fine!Installed Win XP, updated everything except for SP2. The system looks Platinum and sounds great! Can't wait 'till I get FS9 installed!
