February 24, 200521 yr Has anyone installed this with good results? I came across a reference to it a while back and thought I would see if it's something I should install or stay away from. :-) Thanks,Mark
February 24, 200521 yr Mark, when I upgraded to WIN XP Pro it installed the accelerator. It doesn't appear that I'm suffering any ill effects.
February 24, 200521 yr I was having problems with blurries that would kick in after a while and I'd have to refresh my screen. The accelerator fixed it and gave me better performance. It sure can't hurt, as it comes from intel, and it sure helped me. billg

February 26, 200521 yr Much depends on the specific system Mark. I can only say that on my system (Intel 850 mobo chip) the improvement with IAA was dramatic. I got a huge boost in HDD transfer speed. Plus, you can always uninstall it it you find it not to your liking.DougA tired-and-aging Northwood 2.2a at 2.72Ghz (Intel HSF)An Abit TH7II-R motherboard that needs a BIOS upgradeA meager 512MB of Samsung 40ns PC800An original ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (128MB) running Cat. 4.11'sThe latest OS stuff - DX9c, WinXP Pro (SP2)5 cheap WD HDD's (120GB, 120GB, 120GB, 120GB, 120GB)A really superb Plextor 708A DVD/CD WriterA really fast A-Open 1648/AAP DVD/CD RipperA now-not-too-bright Viewsonic PF790 (19")An even-dimmer Compaq S700 (17")A very large Inwin case fitted with a Enermax 431W PSU Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage.
