I successfully uninstall the ATI control panel but when starting the uninstall process for the video driver, I get a message that the current drivers cannot be uninstalled.Any suggestions would be really be appreciated. Thanks a lot,Howard

I use the Omega drivers. Read the readme and just install the new drivers over the top of the old. Going from Cats to Omegas, I think you need to uninstall the Cat Control Panel. Going from Omega to Omega, you only need to uninstall the Radlinker feature. Someone correct me if I'm wrong as I haven't changed drivers in a while. Never had a problem going to newer omega drivers or going back to older omega drivers and never uninstall the existing drivers. That's one thing I really love about ATI. No hassle driver change. A 6 year old could do it.

I use a program called Driver Cleaner 3. I think I DLed it from the same site as the Omega drivers (or I found a link there). And, BTW, I have had to use it before installing older Omegas over newer Omegas; otherwise I got a strange mix of features. But that is OK because Driver Cleaner 3 is fast and easy to use. R-

Go to the Omega Web site. I believe that it is www.driverheaven.net There, I seem to recall, is where I found a step-by-step procedure for getting rid of ATI drivers. If you can't find such a doc, let em know and I'll email you a [email protected]

Howard,What kind of FPS do you get? and what Addones you have that gives you that FPS?I have a similar setup... and it came with an ATI card.. and I unstalled the ATI driver and went for a Geforce and its giving me a lot of grief. When I start wthe default Cessna at Seattle with Megascenary ...I get around 60FPS... and then If I load another aircraft like the Flight1's ATR-500, it rapidly deteriots to around 5 FPS.My old Dell dim 4400 I got far better performance. adding the ATR-500 did not affect my perforamnce in any substatial way.there is something goin on and I can't pin it down. I tried Driver cleaner Pro and everything... its the same result.don't know..if my card is heating up and slowing down or something...
