I was about to install the ATI 5.7 drivers when I noticed that the ATI site now shows the latest as 5.8. Has anyone tried these with FS9?Also, they show an uninstaller, but it appears that it would wipe out all ATI-related files. I used to go to a generic VGA driver before switching drivers, but this no longer shows as an option since I installed the ATI Catalyst 6.14 and control panel. Not much help on the ATI site.Thanks for any help,Dale

I'm using the 5.8's on a 9800 Pro and everything is fine. Yes, the installer does delete all the ATI-related files and on reboot after running it you'll get a plain-vanilla VGA driver until the 5.8's are installed.Doug

I like to remove the ATI folders that the installer did not delete. That way there is less chance of corruption with the new drivers.Terry

Thanks to all,I managed to install the 5.7 drivers, but was not happy with the results - the textures in FS9 seemed coarse as if it were at a lower resolution even though it was 1280 x 960. It may be that I need more up to date drivers for the motherboard (Gigabyte GA-8IHXP, no longer supported). I used system restore to go back to the 4.1 drivers and all is well.I may give the 5.8 drivers a try, now that I know the procedure.Dale
