December 22, 200520 yr Although not everyone has the same opinion, I find the 6800GT/OC to be a wonderful graphics solution from an image quality and performance standpoint, with absolutely no crashes, video freezes, or anything in the way of technical difficulties. I run at 1600x1200x32 4xAA 8-16xAF, most sliders hard right. Performance is smooth.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. December 22, 200520 yr ATI drivers are good IMHO. But since you are an Nvidia user it is probably easier to upgrade to the 7800-series. I wouldn't buy a 6800 at this time. There have been some problems with Nvidia drivers and certain cards, but the rumour is that has been solved.-
December 22, 200520 yr Commercial Member Yep, the driver issue in FS is gone with the new ones out today!I'd recommend a 7800GT - that's probably the best bang for the buck card right now. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

I saw one for $194. Maybe the 7800 is a generation ahead of the X800XL? Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
