March 14, 200620 yr Posted this in the cockpit builders forum but the general user might be interested as well. Great great stuff.http://www.matrox.com/graphics/offhome/th2go/gaming/home.cfmRobert
March 14, 200620 yr I want one :)Some good screenshots with FS near the bottom of this pagehttp://www.matrox.com/graphics/offhome/th2go/artwork.cfmSo will a dual head video card and two of these gizmos run six monitors?Matt
March 14, 200620 yr Wouldn't that be great? Anyways they have a forum there on which people are asking similar questions, I haven't read it yet.Robert

March 15, 200620 yr Im running an sli rig and their compatability test software said my rig was not compatible. Not sure why but it looks like near the end of March they will release the compatability specs. Wow was I disappointed. Looks greatBob
March 15, 200620 yr Hi Bob,Where did you find that compatibility test? I would like to see if my system would work. I only saw it for dual head 2Go (which explains it since dual head is really meant for laptops). The triple head2go compatibility page offers only info that it will work with ATI and Nvidia graphics boards and SLI configurations, but nothing definite. Any info would be appreciated.ThanksRobert
March 15, 200620 yr Now if we could just convince someone to come out with a computer monitor without bezels......Guess it's time to start figuring out a way to convince the wife I need another $500 for flight simulator :)Matt
March 15, 200620 yr RobertYour right. I ran the compatibility test for the double head. My hopes are up again. I wonder if I can push 1600x1200 with 3 displays. I am spoiled at this rez. So, are you thinking about getting the triple? Sure looks nice huh? Bob
March 15, 200620 yr Bob,I also tried the dual head test and it told me geForce 7800 GS is not compatible. I wonder if it has to do with DVI... Are you using DVI as well? Thanks,Michael

So, are you thinking about>getting the triple? Sure looks nice huh? >>BobOK, good, that's what I thought. Triple head 2GO should be compatible with most mainstream AGp and SLI configs..and yes I am definitely trying to convince my wife that this THE ultimate add-on. Now we just have to wait and hope that what they claim (no fps drop etc) is true. BestRobert
March 15, 200620 yr >WOW!>>Just imagine what it would look like with 3 projectors!Exactly my thoughts, although three projectors could be expensive, imagine the field of view...talking about surround "gaming"...GreetsRobert
March 15, 200620 yr Looks nice,I only wonder which card will have to 3D-render the 3840x1024 display. Is that the graphics card in the PC or the Matrox box?3840x1024 rendering in 3D is killing for the framerates imo. Really wonder what the performance is. The graphic card will do the work and matrox box will allow it span across three monitors. On their web site they claim that it will not affect the performance as long as your card is up to the job on the single monitor. But, we'll have to wait and see..It looks great...BestRobert
March 15, 200620 yr >Is that the graphics card in the PC or the Matrox box?The card is in your PC and does all the graphics. This box only dupes your video card into believing that you have just connected a 3840x1024 monitor. So your card renders to that resolution. The Matrox box then splits incoming signal into 3 pieces and displays them to separate monitors. Thanks,Michael
