September 2, 200619 yr At Nvidia's website for both WinXP & x64. From the release notes, for the first time in ages, the did something to the FS2004 display profile: Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
September 2, 200619 yr I installed the 91.47 drivers on my system for use with the 7950 card. All I can say is that now, the 7950 really does its job. I am finally seeing the results I hoped for and expected. All sliders up, frames rates are in the 60 to 80's, with no stuttering or flickering of the textures. Running at 3840 X 1024, with 3 19" monitors and the Matrox TripleHead2Go with the Track IR4 Pro. Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
September 2, 200619 yr Howard, For comparison's sake, what results were you getting prior to the 91.47's?

September 2, 200619 yr I would say that in FS9 I was getting about half, but the results were much more dramatic in the FSX demo. Howard Jetline Systems: Intel 8th Gen Core i7 8700K (4.8GHz Overclock); GTX 1080 Ti; LG Curved UltraWide 3440x1440 Monitor .
September 3, 200619 yr Author FWIW, I installed 91.47 x64 this morning and everything checks out. I can't tell the difference in image quality from 91.36 to 91.47 except for the cloud-quality looks a bit better. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
September 3, 200619 yr Author A word of caution: I don't know about other Nvidia cards, but they renamed my 7900GT to 7900GT/GTO in the inf file which created a new video card entry in my fs9.cfg file. It is considered bad to have more than one video card entry per phycical card in the fs9.config file. Make sure you double check it and remove the duplicate if necessary. I did gain a few FSP back after cleaning up my config file after installing this driver.AL | KCHS - Charleston AFB/Intl | USAF 437AW (~53 C-17's)FS9/Game Rig:AMD64-4000+ SanDiego OC=210/420/2520 | Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe | Corsair TwinX2048-3200C2PT (2x1GB) 2.5-3-3-8/[email protected] | Evga NV 7900GT v91.31 (1280x1024x32/4xAA/16xAF/High-Quality) | Enermax 550W PSU | Thermalright XP-120(mm) HSF | NV 1GB LAN | NV SATA-I Raid-0 223GB (3x80GB Samsung) (WinXPx64/Games) | NV SATA-II WD 320GB (Backups) | IDE-0 80GB Samsung (Archive) | Realtek AC'97 5.1 Surround | CH Yoke, TQ, & Pedals | FS9.1 (Settings max'd/60-50Vis/No-Shadows/20FPS) | WideFS v6.7 | FSUIPC v3.7 | FSGenesis Mesh (All) | PMDG (All) | PAI (All) | FSBuild2 | EtcFS9 Support Rig:AMD3200+ | Gigabyte GA-7NNXP | Leadtek NV 5900 | Corsair TwinX1024-3200 (2x512MB) | Intel 1GB LAN | SiI3112 SATA-I 80GB Samsung | IDE-0 80GB IBM | JustCom 4port KVM | WideClient | GE-Pro v2 | ActiveSky v6 (512x512x32bit / Wx Influanced)| Radar Contact v4.2 | FS Real Time | FS Flight Keeper | FS Commander | AI Smooth Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
September 3, 200619 yr I always remove the last entry in the FS9.cfg whenever I put a new driver in. When you reboot the sim you keep all your other FS9.cfg mods, but you only have to re-set your resolution, and specific settings - AA, Trilinear etc.Allcott
September 4, 200619 yr Has this new driver fixed the 8x AA issue? Even with a single card (7600GS), the aircraft display box is blacked out! Thanks.
September 4, 200619 yr Author I don't think so. I still have the enlarged FSPassengers box (black) when I display the FSPassengers information which I only get when selecting 8xAA in previous versions as well. Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
