September 5, 200619 yr >Very buggy...Causes all sorts of problems in fs2004 and>locks-up fsx.Went back to 91.31 drivers and everything was>fine.I have a 7800 GTX and I downloaded it yesterday and I get less ghost panels (see through VC when lights are on) and about a 3 to 5 fps increase.I have not played FS2004 yet, but will try later on. Thanks for the info. What card do you have?
September 5, 200619 yr I've been using 91.47 for a couple of weeks with my 6800GT and so far no problems at all but as they say YMMV.Bruceb Bruce Bartlett Frodo: "I wish none of this had happened." Gandalf: "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us."
September 5, 200619 yr I can't see the aircraft in the aircraft selection window with any AA setting with the 91.47's or the 91.45's. With the 91.47's, I can't see any video in media player or real player but I could with the 91.45's. September 5, 200619 yr Commercial Member Absolutely no problem with the new drivers here... make sure you flush your FS9.cfg when you do a driver update. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
September 5, 200619 yr For those of us who are slow, what do you mean by 'flush the FS9.cfg'? Delete it?Thanks...
September 5, 200619 yr Yes, or rename it to back it up.Also, try Window Mode and see if things work better.
September 5, 200619 yr What about the Media Player and Real Player issues? September 5, 200619 yr Running 91.47 WITHOUT success here. FSX demo NOT running well. Also huge problems with F.E.A.R. and the common nv4_disp error.Nels
September 5, 200619 yr Already covered everything in this thread so far. No-name steams in in with his/her/its first post and we're all barking like dogs on a leash. How do we know this person even owns FS? Clearly they don't use these forums or else they would have contributed to existing threads rather than create a new one in the wrong forum. So who cares what they think?I am using the 91.47 drivers without problems. They dramatically improve things for owners of pre-7x.xx series cards, they do need installing correctly, there is no need to delete FS9.cfg only the lines for the graphics card. This has ALWAYS been the case in FS and the 91.47 drivers introduce nothing new there. All this has already been covered in recent topics. It's the new arrival that needs to take lessons from us, not us from him.Allcott
September 5, 200619 yr The 91.47 drivers work very well with FSX, better than the April set of drivers. I haven't had any problems with other apps either.
