smart, re:Sorry but i have to say the fsx runs at 25fps on my machine posts crack me up. You really have no idea what you're talking about. I am currently getting 16 fps sitting on rnwy 34 at Seattle and when airborne 22-25fps. And I'm doing it on this machine:ASUS A8N- nForce SLI Chipset SATA RAID Dual PCIe MOBOAMD ATHLON64 3500+ CPU w/ HT TechLG GWA-4161 DVD/CD200GB Maxtor SATA 150 8MB Cache80GB Maxtor Ultra ATA 133EVGA 7900 GT KO PCIe nvodngov19147-[Guru3D.com] drivers SB Audigy 22G Corsair PC 3200 400MHZ Dual Channel DDR Super Alien 500W P/SIf you don't believe it I really don't care. For you to make a statememt like that is just ignorant. You can look at the config yourself.Craig

Alright, I may be stating the obvious here, but I did a smack upside my own head. I didn't set the "desired Frame rate" tab to "unlimited" Otherwise it would always be the same frame rate (and it defaults to something like 10-15fps for some stupid reason).

>Sorry but i have to say the fsx runs at 25fps on my machine>posts crack me up.>>If it does then you must have all the sliders at the left and>looking at something worse than fs9, not what you paid for.>>Otherwise you're just making it up so go away.ROFLMAO...But seriously. I believe its what each one expects from the flight sim. The ones who are not used to all the addons like AI and PMDG 747 etc with multiple monitors and and what not.. are going to be perfectly happy with sliders to the left. And they do get the bragging rights for achieving the 25FPS.The ones who push the flight sim to the limit to achieve "as real as it gets" have issues.Remember, Mediocrity is the majority.:)Manny

Hi Daryllthis tip is valid only for PC with AGP graphic card (not PCI-E).You don't need any tools, just start the PC and enter the BIOS, then search the AGP section and modify the parameter called AGP APERTURE SIZE.Good lookFelix

well, pushing the aperture size from 128 to 256megs doesn't work for me.Nothing changed. Still a useless performance :-(
