May 15, 200719 yr Hm, ok, I am running 333 mhz in my BIOS at present; that gives me166/200 * 235 = 195 mhz/ same as 390 mhz ddr.Now I see...So does that mean I have more headroom to o/c? I guess I will find out...presently at 2585 mhz.RhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
May 15, 200719 yr Yep, should have headroom unless you are running into a wall with your CPU or another component. One system I bought for overclocking wouldn't go very far at all. If I OCed the FSB more than 10MHz it would corrupt my HDD and require a repair install of XP. I never did get to see how far that CPU would go. I could have bought a new MBD I suppose, but didn't bother.
