June 18, 200718 yr This is what I have, and will keep for awhile. In your opinion, is this system adequate to run FSX with reasonable frame rates? Pentium 4 at 3.2GHz2048MB DDR SDRAM at 400MHz256MB Leadtek A7600 GT TDH Video CardAlso, how does it work keeping FS9 on the system as well as FSX? Is there any problems whatsoever with this? Thanks guys!
June 18, 200718 yr Not really....It will struggle with FSX unless you put sliders at low...Define reasonable though...big cities...not gonna be fun...I can't do much more than 15 in big cities with my high settingsRural ok...so if you fly around smaller airports, you'll be good to go.... | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
June 18, 200718 yr Author Thanks for the quick reply. Well, I'm a VATSIM guy. Mostly fly the major terminals using LD767, PSS757, PMDG737 and 744. Not good for FSX, or so it appears. My FS9 works like a charm, even with several add-ons, so that's my platform for some time to come. Too bad, but thanks again.
