October 20, 200718 yr I do understand some of the different technologies involved that trade response time/cost and viewing angle for better black/higher contrast, or less backlight bleed. I know one thing: my Samsung is fine if you look straight on at it, and it does not do well for night flying, which I very much (used to) enjoy.Anyone found the perfect compromise in this regard yet? I'd pay the $$ for one that was fast enough and offered better black and viewing angle.I miss my Sony 22" ultra high grille point CRT!Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. October 20, 200718 yr Noel- I'm using a little, old 17" ACER AL1706 LCD along with 2- 7 year old KDS 19" CRTs in a triple mon/triple views setup- (LFwd,Fwd,RFwd). If I recall, the ACER has a 5 ms response. With a few colour tweaks initially, I can't detect any difference in the 3 mons- night or day nor performance wise. The ACER is zoomed up to 1.10 in FS9 to match the bigger area of the CRTs. Provides a 180
