What should I upgrade?

Featured Replies

Hi,I am wondering what would be my next hardware upgrade to get better performance(FSX or FS9). My current setup:-CPU : Intel Dual Core E2140 2 x 1.6 Ghz-RAM : 2 GB RAM-VIDEO : NVidia 8800GTS 640mb-HDD : 250mb HDD 7200rpm-OS : Win XP SP2-DISPLAY: 2 x 19" LCD Screen + 84" Screen (720p Projector)-CONTROL: Saitek X52 and Pro Flight Yoke-FS VER : FSX (SP1 + SP2), FS9 I have acceptable FSX performance, blurries of course, and on ground in busy airports have a low fps.Thanks!MPMontreal, Canada

I would say definitely the CPU. It's an Intel C2D but low-end. E8400 makes a good choice. You may have to change your mobo too? I'm not sure.Jason
