Here's the framerate data I get on my system running the framerate slider on unlimted (which I never do, normally locked 30). I used FSXMark07 as the benchmark flight. All of my slider settings, graphics card settings and FSX.cfg settings are identical in both runs except for the fact that DX10 preview is enabled in one benchmark and the other it is not. The graphical quality of DX10 was no where near that of DX9 and DX10 Preview has a bad case of stutters.FRAPS DATA FSXMark07 DX9Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg 6474, 275004, 9, 30, 23.541FRAPS DATA FSXMark07 DX10 PreviewFrames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg 6070, 275212, 9, 28, 22.056The proof for me is in the above numbers. Do you see a performance increase or decrease? My calculations indicate, for this specific benchmark run a 6.3% performance decrease (far off from the 25% I claimed in my post but the magnitude of the performance loss is heavily dependent on area flown). As I stated above all settings are equal between both runs nothing is different. My FSX settings are cranked quite high and I am using UTX, FEX, MyTraffic X and GEX.What resolution are you guys that are seeing an increase running in? and are you keeping all other settings constant?
