New setup, unusual stuttering, any ideas?

Featured Replies

Hello,Recently I have bought a new system and I ran my fs9 very well for about two months. Yesterday I was required to do the dreaded reinstall of Window XP Pro due to other factors (never let girlfriends use the net again), and today I installed the sim (fs9).First thing I did was my usual routine of installing the patch and then set about the mesh, GePro, Ultimate Traffic, and ActiveSky. Fired it up and I encountered a problem I 've never seen before, the sim is visually stunning but the sound is cracking and its stuttering badly. Okay I thought, and did the following, installed brand new drivers the correct way, no change, disabled the on board sound and still no change. Updated directx, .net framework, everything you could possibly update I have done so. I'm now asking for any ideas people can come up with. Some strange characteristics are when I'm in the default Cessna at KSEA and I look left or right it gets worse, when I look directly down at the ground the frames are atraight back to 40 and its butter, odd I thought, my specs areASUS P5KE-WiFiASUS 8800 GT 1GBRAID 0 configIntel 8400 core2duo2 gigs of Kingston RAMMuch appreciated,George

Is AA and AF enabled?I actually got stutters if AA was off hehe
