November 25, 200817 yr Hi, I am thinking of upgrading my system from XP to Vista 64bit, but my controlers are all analog CH Products. I haven't been able to find any drivers labeled for Vista. Do they work automatically or is there a work around? Thanks!!!
November 25, 200817 yr What's analogue mean? I run a CH throttle that connects via USB and works fine. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
November 25, 200817 yr Author Thanks for the response - mine are analog and connect to the soundcard at the back of the PC, they don't connect thru the USB port.
November 25, 200817 yr Author I did some additional research and found that analog CH Products can be used with VISTA, if anyone else is interested the instructions can be found at the link below.http://forums.creative.com/creativelabs/bo...scending&page=1
November 25, 200817 yr Author On further investigation this fix only works with Vista 32Bit, so if anyone knows of a fix for 64Bit please let me know.
November 25, 200817 yr ahhh, have you tried the fix anyway? | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
November 25, 200817 yr The old / Gameport, CH PRO Peddals will work with Vista64. The easy way is to get a Gameport to USB converter / Adapter from RShack, post if you cannot find the Cat. no., for about $20.00 and it will be recognized as a USB Adapter. You can also use the additional Axes for Differential Braking, the Properties > Settings, can be interesting, but you will not need another Jstick connected to it, just connect the two remaining connectors in a Feedback loop, and Have your other Controller connected to your other USB port. For the Yoke, you will not be able, at least I was not, to get a Driver and or an Interface that will give you access to All the buttons / functions, but you can plug it in as a Jstick. and use the Axes on the same Adapter, but loose the Diff. Brake feature. Post here for more info. Now if you did not get the Vista yet, I would not recommend you spending the money for it. I had to have it to perform certain compatibility tests with what I am involved in, but I am so upset with some of the things it does, like connect you to INet without giving it permission, shutting the System down in the middle of your work, without giving you ample chance to close / save your work, that I am in the process of talking to an Attorney see if we can the carp to stop. I'd like to know who that Programmer was, find his mama and click her in the behind.Edit for the Vista rant.TV
November 25, 200817 yr I didn't need any fix. My 8 year old CH products yoke just "worked" right off the bat with Vista 64.
