open a command prompttype the following *exactly* as you see here and hit enter:bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKSyes, there is an extra "D" before disable

Rhett, I've been using Rivatuner (v2.10) since I went to V64 and have never had that issue. There is a way to disable driver signing enforcement in Vista (at your own risk): from a command window, run: Bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON . I can't recall whether I have implemented that or not. Hope it helps and I like your STL btw, thanks.edit: Tech posted just before me but seems like a difference in the parameter.Regards, [email protected]/4GB/8800GT CH Yoke/Pedals/Saitek Throttle Dual Monitor: Dell 2405/1905

Vista64 installs have this command nerf'ed, I'd like to find that info. :)RhettFS box: E8500 (@ 3.80 ghz), AC Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5E3 Premium, BFG 8800GTX 756 (nVidia 169 WHQL), 4gb DDR3 1600 Patriot Cas7 7-7-7-20 (2T), PC Power 750, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Seagate 500gb, Silverstone TJ09 case, Vista Ultimate 64ASX Client: AMD 3700+ (@ 2.6 ghz), 7800GT

Heads up, there appears to be a v2.20 of RivaTuner out now:http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=163RhettFS box: E8500 (@ 3.80 ghz), AC Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5E3 Premium, BFG 8800GTX 756 (nVidia 169 WHQL), 4gb DDR3 1600 Patriot Cas7 7-7-7-20 (2T), PC Power 750, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Seagate 500gb, Silverstone TJ09 case, Vista Ultimate 64ASX Client: AMD 3700+ (@ 2.6 ghz), 7800GT

RivaTuner v2.20 appears to have a digitally signed driver. Thanks for all the good info here re: the rollbacks. I'll keep that in mind at work when I'm fighting old CD-ROM drivers.RhettFS box: E8500 (@ 3.80 ghz), AC Freezer 7 Pro, ASUS P5E3 Premium, BFG 8800GTX 756 (nVidia 169 WHQL), 4gb DDR3 1600 Patriot Cas7 7-7-7-20 (2T), PC Power 750, WD 150gb 10000rpm Raptor, Seagate 500gb, Silverstone TJ09 case, Vista Ultimate 64ASX Client: AMD 3700+ (@ 2.6 ghz), 7800GT

I've finally found the solution to this problem. Techpowerup has a digitally-signed copy of rivatuner's system driver dating back to version 2.03. Read this. Installation instructions and a link to the file are present. Be sure to follow the instructions exactly. You'll want to delete whatever .rtu file(s) exist in your Rivatuner installation folder (not the program files folder but the folder where the program's install files exist) and replace with this one. Just tried on a new Vista 64 install (which I forgot to disconnect from the internet so it grabbed new install files which appear to have removed the ability to disable the driver signing requirement) and it works perfectly!Edit: wait, 2.20 has a digitally-signed driver? lol, guess my find isn't so useful afterall.
