VoxATC Videos

Featured Replies

I took some time tonight and made some videos of my simulator (home cockpit) and demonstrated the usage of TrackIR 3 and VoxATC together. Check it out:http://www.cessnasim.com/index.php?/archiv...tor-Videos.htmlWhat an awesome experience! Don't mind the quirks you may notice with me repeating myself. I have to do some additional training for my microphone. Don't laugh either :)

:-lol :-lol :-lol ...:-8 wasn't supposed to laugh. Cool stuff, wish I lived next door :-beerchug , I'd bring the beer.Zane

Thanks guys...Mmm beer. Now you can mix Aviation with Alcohol!

Very very cool stuff there.

Nice.I have been thinking about grabbing the thing, but I'm kind of waiting until it will run under WideFS on another machine - I'm loaded up with TSR's already on my FS Server. Did you notice a big hit in frame rate? Also - the computer voices are pretty lame.

Hi,No framerate hits here whatsoever. It was practically transparent on my system as for the resources. Also, check this out: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...sg_id=193&page=I honestly don't see it necessary to run this under WideFS because it runs just fine on a single system even pumping out 2 displays and driving all my simkits stuff. I'd go for it. You can always download the updates later. Maybe by purchasing, you can help the developers fund more development. I'm also a software developer (not for VoxATC) and I know what it's like to have people waiting on new features. It doesn't help "in the now" to fund development to get those features people desire.

Ao you are successfully running traffic and VoxTR without a significant hit? Excellent. I am running a P4 2.8 overclocked to 3.2GHz - with all the stuff I am running now my frame rates are typically in the high 20's (have it limited at 30). I agree with your statment about funding projects in the works - it shows a commitment from the community that spurs prohgrammers on to venture in directions they might not other wise go.I think I'll buy the thing :)

Erik,I left you a post on the page where you view the movies. I wonder how VOXATC works for IFR?Can you give us an idea what your sim specifications are? Hardware, software, particularly your outside view (projection?)And finally, if you don't mind, the approx investment for SimKits etc.Pretty AWESOME.Barry
