Why hasn't this release been announced on the front page of AVSIM or in the basic FSX forum? There is still no pricing info. It seems like a low key way of announcing a release that has been in the works for such a long time.Tom

Hi Tom,I'm not sure about your questions. I just happened to visit here the other day and found the FSX update.I have yet to get the FSX version to run. As you probably have read, I'm having problems with the Indexer hanging on FSGenesis files.I did get the index completed by removing FSG files but now I do not get the screen asking to install the .gau file.Waiting for a reply from VoxATC.Regards,Richard

Richard,Usually when a new program is released you will see it on the AVSIM home page right along with the new files. Since the VOXATC forum has been pretty slow recently, as evidenced by the fact only 68 people have viewed the announcement, it would seem many more would be made aware of it if noted on the home page.Have you seen a cost yet? If it is the same as the UK version, ($147 USD) that seems pretty steep for an addon especially when the original was in the $50 range.Tom

The normal procedure for getting news on AVSIM's front page is for the developer or vendor to send a press release to AVSIM's front page editor. There's a couple links in the left hand column of AVSIM's front page for this purpose. I actually haven't seen the pricing schedule for VoxATC X yet. I'm not surprised by the UK's USD price given the devaluation of the USD against the Euro though.

I also find it strange that this release is so low key. If I had put all the work into developing this inovative program I would be putting the word out. I have the SW installed and it is working great. Hopefully there will be a way to purchase it before the one week demo period expires.
