Sound device selectiom

Featured Replies

Yello all,I am considering buying this product, but I am wondering, I have a 2 comp set up using WideFS and FSUIPC, can I offload FS2Crew to the second one? Also can I choose which audio device this product uses? I have a USB headset and a soundcard and want to choose the soundcard for this.Heh just did some forum searching, amazing tool no? and answered the second comp question, but the sound question still remainsThanksAndras Kiss

Hello Andras,Selecting which audio device the program uses is not possible at the moment. That's an interesting concept though. The only issue with it would be that FS2Crew adds more than just crew sounds to the PMDG 737.A few other sounds are added as well (namely systems test sounds, among others), and it would not be realistic to only hear them through a headset. All the best,Bryan

Actually, the issue is no longer valid in my case, but I was actually suggesting something else. I know a lot of people who fly on vatsim like to have the audio from FS like engines and such go through speakers, and ATC through a headset, I was suggesting routing through the speakers. But my FS computer has only speakers so im all set, thanks!

As a sort of request for future versions (and updates to current ones?), it would be awesome if we could choose to route specific types of sounds to certain audio devices. For example, all PF/PNF conversation would be routed to the USB headset/second audio card, cockpit sounds, FA conversations, etc., to the speakers (primary sound card), and so on.Just a thought...
