John Sander's Wing View Merge Now Available!

Recommended Posts

Captains,John Sander's excellent wing view merge is now available for FS2Crew users.I've personally installed this merge, and I highly recommend it.If you like wing views, it is a must have.Important: You must have Update 1.1 prior to installing the merge.Important: You must run the 767 config utility and click "save" after installing the merge to finalize the merge (the merge overwrites the panel.cfg files located in the Panel Options folder).John's merge is available in the Avsim library.http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Search...=root&Go=Search-Bryan

Hi,One of the read me files (Landing View ReadMe.txt) downloaded with this ZIP gives installation instructions for the "landing view" with the 2D cockpit configuration (for American and United Airlines). The ZIP file it refers to is LDS767vfrlanding.zip but his was not included with the downloaded ZIP.Where can it be downloaded from?Is it compatible with the FS2Crew panel files?Regards,Vaughan Martell

I had this wing view merge working before installing fs2crew 767 edition. It vanished after running the congig manager as said in the set up program. Do you have any idea on how to reinstall the merge without having to edit the panel.cfg files manually ? Most of all, I don't want to mess up the fs2crew functions, for I want to use both the wing views and fs2crew.Thanks for the help...

Pierre,There is a version that combines FS2Crew with Wing View so you won't have to edit the 767 panel.cfg by hand. It's in the Avsim library under "Sanders".Make sure you installed the latest FS2Crew 767 Update before installing the wing merge.Chrs,Bryan

Thanks for the great support Bryan. I found it out just after posting my previous message. Everything is in place and I'm cleared for take-off...
