October 14, 200619 yr Bryan,Do you not think that to accurately model cargo operations for the 744F, you would have to make quite a few alterations from the passenger version? I was thinking of this, and I think that to make it work realistically with the cargo fleet there would have to be more than just a few sounds taken out and a few new ones added as the procedures and ops techniques for cargo (on the ground, as well as in the air) are noticeably different. By the way, review is being worked on, and I apologise for the slowness of it. Being my first attempt at a review, I'm trying to make it good. You've helped me tremendously with the usual high quality of FS2Crew, though.Tim Timothy D. Herman (midcon385) KMDT -- Harrisburg Int'l Airport, PA
October 15, 200619 yr Commercial Member Hello Tim,That is correct. It'll be up to the user base to decide to a large degree how they want the freighter version to work. If the user base wants significant changes that would require a major re-write of large portions of code, then I'll have to charge for the upgrade given the required development time and other associated costs. I would be interested to know how many people regularily fly using the freighter models. Is it 1 percent of all PMDG 747 users, 10 percent, 20 percent?....These are also factors I have to take into consideration.-Bryan B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
October 16, 200619 yr To be fair about the F version, I rarely would fly the pax version after the F came out because I could get away with flying it to the most remote and exotic places on the planet. I use FSNav as a moving map just to "see" where I am at in the world as I pass over enroute to my destinations. I frequently make notes of places of interest, large or small. The F kind of frees the pilot up to go there.I would be interested in paying for a upgrade price or however you want to do it.ThanksWilson HinesMy Blog: http://www.wilsonhines.com --------------------------------------http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpghttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/pmdg_744F.jpghttp://online.vatsimindicators.net/837438/3074.png
