Random CTD's, Hardware or Software issue?

The below quote is from the FSUIPC discussion Pete and Lee were having about version 3.71.It looks like Pete does NOT believe FSUIPC is responsible. Link to origional problem on simflight is below. I had the same crashes. Mine were from a small window in windowed mode to a full screen in windowed mode.http://forums.simflight.com/viewtopic.php?...er=asc&start=15Quote is from page 2 at the bottom." One thing is for certain now, though. It isn't actually anything in the FSUIPC code -- every part of it is now covered by traps, and they aren't being triggered. The problems are deep in FS's threading somewhere. If they never occurred with 3.70 or before it was just plain luck.RegardsPete "JimCYWG

Hi all, just starting to get those CTD's again during online flying. This is what my screen looks like. Anybody a clue what might cause this ?ThxEarl.System:WXPSP2 FS9ASUS P5N32E-SLI MB Intel Core 2 Extreme QX 6700 NVIDIA Geforce 8800GTX Corsair XMS2 2GB DDR2 800 2xWD Raptor 150GB RAID 0 1WD 150GDPlextor PX-716 AL DVD

Well, I went into my error log and discovered the following for all the CTD's so far.Searching on MS FS9 support site http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=ph;en-us;1823/I found that this CTD might very well be caused by an incompatibility between IE7 and FS9. Most of us downloaded this new version of IE with automatic updates recently, although i use Firefox. So I'll give it a try.Earl.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/167024.jpg
