November 1, 200619 yr Hey Larry, did you 'fool around' with those .cfg numbers? Did it help at all? (I realize I tackling a different issue with mine, but the same theory may have worked for you too).
November 1, 200619 yr Yes, I sure did, and it did seem to help. I think I may need to tweak it a bit more, but it does not lean as badly now, still leans but not nearly as bad, Many thanks for the suggestion.
November 1, 200619 yr In reality, this plane (as other single props) probably does have a bit of 'lean'. I doubt it is uncommon to have to 'lean' on the yoke slightly some aircraft.I have not been 'up' in years, but FS does seen to exaggerate the forces a bit at cruise from what I remember.
November 1, 200619 yr Most of the airplanes I have flown have a lean. Either because of fuel imbalance (having only a L/R/Off fuel selector, no Both) or improper rigging of the control surfaces. It is such a huge pain in the rear to get the control rigging EXACTLY right that most A&Ps get it somewhere near close and call it quits. As a CFI, I actually got tired of taking the airplane up and flying it around to see if it was any closer after the last adjustment.
November 1, 200619 yr haaa. I hear you. Yea, I guess its one of those things we just have to live with here in the fs world. I have only flown a 172 in the real world, and I remember when I first started how it was hard to keep it straight and level. Anyway, thanks for the reply

I agree with that. I would hate it if a sim aircraft flies stragiht without an AP. I don't get this request. IF all one wanted was to fly straight...use the AP. if not, hand fly.
