FS2004 is still the main flight simulator?

I know some people get tired of seeing these kinds of posts, but not me. As you can tell by my post count, I don't comment on the forums often, and when I do visit I don't go digging through pages and pages of topics. I CHOOSE to open these RECENT topics to read, and I do like to come and get a sense of where my thinking fits in with other simmers in the community, and I want to know the precise moment when the sentiment changes. Someone else raised an excellent point as well: developers freeware and payware need to know that we are still here and in here in droves...stop wasting time with FSX at least until more than average users' machines can run it smoothly. We've got another 2 years at least for developers to give FSXI a sim environment to beat! I'm not going to kid myself, when (if) FSXI comes out, i'll be one of the first to buy it. FSX in my opinion (I own it, don't use it) is a wealth of ideas and features for FS9 developers to try to emulate. I expect to see the FS9 Utilities and Enhancements market resurrected because of these posts.

I'm pretty happy with FS9. I can finally run it on my new machine. I've got addons that enhance the realism. I'm sticking with FS9.Lee Alexander

Yeah Larry, folks here-abouts don't want none of their illusions destroyed by you FSX devotees. Just scurry back to that dimension from whence you came and don't be darkening our realm with your "knowledge" and "experience." In other words, we reject your reality and substitute one of our own. ;)
