You're more than likely running into problems with the AIRAC cycle of the default FS9, Which by now is 5 years old. Most of the current waypoints simply don't exist in FS9's default cycle. Here is a link to update the default to the current (0308) AIRAC cycle. From there you should be able to transfer the flightaware routes straight across.http://uk.geocities.com/[email protected]/Cheers

I think the FS9 flight planner just reads the lat/long, and doesn't actually look for the waypoints in the scenery files? so there might be some other problem. I built that route as listed in fsbuild 1.43 assuming a south departure. Thanks to all. I never could get the downloaded flight plans from Simroutes to load properly in FS9 so I ending up bringing the route list from Flightaware into Super Flight Planner and making the route from there; and it seemed to go OK
