August 1, 200817 yr What section of the fs9.cfg file do I need to alter to extend the radius that the terrain is drawn? I have the extended terrain textures box check in the settings menu, but that isn't enough for me with GE Pro installed.-Jeremy Jeremy "rightseater" Fletcher

August 2, 200817 yr Don't expect too much though, if you mean the detailed cross-shaped area when viewed from above. It is a simulator "feature" and can't be enlarged with the tweaks mentioned in that thread.
August 3, 200817 yr Jeremy,Fly with a zoom level of 0.75 or even 0.60.Just a note about the post over at Fsgenesis: At that time (2005) Holger believed the max values one can use was 9.9. After extensive testing by Joachim Buhre, it was shown that 4 is actually the max value for both TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS and TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS. See this post where Holger mentions the new findings:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=263&topic_id=30282&mode=fullRegards,Gerhard Regards, Gerhard "I fly because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things" (Antoine de Saint-Exupery)
