September 19, 200817 yr I have noticed that if I start a flight at KEWR or KJFK FS9 will crash to desktop. I have aerosoft Manhattan but disabling it changed nothing. I also started FS in SAFE mode and the problem still remained. What could this be? Is it possible to repair FS?

Is it possible to>repair FS?Try disabling any other scenery additions (airports etc.) for the area and perhaps as much as hundred or so miles away.If the problem goes away, start adding them back in, one at a time, until it reappears. It could be something a simple as a non-compatible texture in one of them.It could also be a faulty texture on AI aircraft which are present in the area. Also try turning off AI as part of your testing.Keep us posted, please.
September 20, 200817 yr Is it only in daylight, night? Try starting at another time of day that it is crashing, or another season. If it doesn't crash, then it is probably a bad or missing scenery texture.Rick
