Hi,I'm considering to buy the MCP of VRI which looks very nice specifically regarding the reasonable price (330 euri in NL):http://www.vrinsight.comhttp://www.aviationmegastore.com/?shopid=L...d=287&art=80789Did anyone already bought this piece of hardware and if so, what are your experiences with it?According to the manual it can be configured to work with almost any add-on

I think you should be very careful about these devices. I didn't buy them, but I read an article about them in PC Simulation, the French magazine dediacted to flight simulation. They say these devices are not expensive, but not very good because:- The utility that allows you to map the device buttons to gauges in fact records a mouse click at X,Y coordinates. It works, but the gauge you want to activate MUST be visible on the screen and it must be at the position where it was when you recorded the macro.- Pressing the buttons is not easy: if you press a button, the devices falls backward, so you have to hold it with your hand behind- The FMC is a poor modeling of the real thing: instead of having a full-size screen, it has a 2-lines display, so the pushbuttons on the side do not correspond to the display. Now you make your decision, but I think you should now this before buying.Eric

Can they also be linked to key commands? I know some payware aircraft's FMCs allow for key commands to be activated for the various functions.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satellite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004, MIDCON P-401"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have.
