From: http://www.flightsimulatorguide.com/fsxfaq.html#brakemessage :( How do I remove the annoying brake message from the screen?- Open the fsx.cfg file and search for "InfoBrakesEnable". Directly below this line is another setting called "InfoParkingBrakesEnable". You can change both of them to: InfoBrakesEnable=FalseInfoParkingBrakesEnable=FalseThe first one enables/disables the brake message when the autobrakes are still in RTO position after the takeoff. The other one enables/disables the parkingbrake message. Below these 2 settings, there are another 4 settings about text messages: InfoPauseEnable, InfoSlewEnable, InfoStallEnable, InfoOverspeedEnable. You may disable these text messages as well if you like to see no text messages at all. Something like this:InfoBrakesEnable=FalseInfoParkingBrakesEnable=FalseInfoPauseEnable=FalseInfoSlewEnable=FalseInfoStallEnable=FalseInfoOverspeedEnable=FalseRegardsPeterH

Thanks! I thought I read at one time a different way as well. I think it was only one entry in the config. I will try your suggestion though.

Thanks Phase for this.Is it possible to get rid of the message in the upper right that says what view and zoom level you are at? or at least decrease the time it stays onscreen?

In the Main section of fsx.cfg:HideInfoText=1 // gets rid of the mag, brakes and other info on the screen
