I did make it on the fourth try. I lost a bit of time cruising along at 1000 ft trying to find the airport after over shooting the descent.

Baton Free VRMMReal life made me fly a longer approach and then I was disoriented and did not get a nice stabilized approach. I did land though. The 727 stops well.

Thanks Jeff, The arrival was a little tough though. The runway was blacktop, LIRW & our new dog likes to watch especially when altitude callouts are made. :( She hops up right on the desk and gets her nose right to the monitor! Could'nt see the runway until about 0.5 nm out and was 5-6 degrees off, a little arc and it ended up to be one of the best hand flown landings without cues I've made in the '67. Roman
