Recommended Posts

Hi,I have installed the Fs2Cew including update. Everything works fine with the MD-11 but suddenly (at random time when I pusch the green main button) the default ATC window is closed and the zoom function (key's - = ) is not working anymore.Al the keyoard functions seems to be OK. What could be the problem?Spec/programs: XP SP2/FSC8/PMDG MD-11Thanks in advance Errol

Had the same too. It has t do with Pushback, you forgot to Disconnect. I remember Bryan in some other post mentioning that has something to do with the code, dunno really exactly but just Disconnect your Ground Crew and everything comes back to normal again. itifonhom.

Thanks,I also find out that it happens during the 'engine start' checklist when the plane is already start (warm). It is logic, you don't sart the engine when it is already on. I skip that part now and everything is OK.Errol

ATC menu: This applies to the FSX version only. What's happening is that FS2Crew is commanding the FSX pushback tug to stay coupled to the aircraft. In order to do this, I have to fire the FS key toggle pushback command two times in succession 18 times a second. If I don't the tug won't stay coupled to the plane. It's an MS FSX thing. There's no other way that I know of to get around it other than to try to make my own AES, which I believe puts the plane into some kind of slew mode.Long story short, so long as the FSX pushback tug is coupled to the aircraft menu, the FSX ATC menu will be unavailable due, presumably, because I'm firing the key toggle event 18 times a second. When you run the before start checklist, FS2Crew sends a signal to to the FSX pushback tug to connect to the aircraft.Zoom: You should still have it. FS2Crew uses Numpad Minus and Plus by default for the Green and Red button (ensure NUM LUCK is off). Try re-assigning them if you have issues with Zoom.Cheers,
