Captain Keith's Sandspit and UT Canada

Featured Replies

Ok, I know the two aren't compatible and the patch from Capt. Keith to make it compatible hasn't yet materialized. So...Does anyone know what anomolies present themselves from this incompatibility? I read a post elsewhere in this forum about a tree at the end of one runway. Otherwise, what other negative effects could one see running these two programs together? Thanks.

Buildings in the water and the list goes on...if you use UT don't buy it and waste your money. What upset me is at first it mentioned nothing about not working with UT (almost everyone uses it). After some complaints (yes I was one of them) a disclaimer was posted on the site about it not working with UT.A promised patch never came about and I never bought another Cpt. Keith scenery....Too bad because his scenery's are nice.

Thanks. I was contemplating buying it and I can usually live with a slight inconveniece here and there such as misaligned streets, etc. But what you describe is too harsh and indeed not worth my money. Thanks again.Ed Lin, D.O.S.

I have both Capt keith and UTC installed without any major issues. It's a matter of how you layer them in FS9 scenry libery.Bill M

I fully agree and that's why I gave it a bad review rating at simmarket.

Bill,I would guess this is having the Capt Keith Sandspit a few layers above UTCanada? Is this correct? Thanks.Ed Lin, D.O.S.

Does not help where you layer them. Mr. Frank's place is in the middle of a lake, buidlings in the water and docks in the middle of the forest. It says right on Cpt Keith site (this was added after the fact FYI)>>>Please note: The Sandspit Scenery add-on is not Ultimate Terrain Canada compatible at this time! A patch may be on the way in the near future, however we can't give any release dates for that at this time.Ed, take my advice. Save your money.
