Was wondering if anyone knew what the average turn around time on an MD11 Freighter. For example, I know Fedex has late afternoon arrivals into many out stations from KMEM and KIND which in turn don't leave back to the hubs until later that night. However if a flight is running late out of KMEM to KMIA for example, how quickly can it be turned around?Thanks,Dave S

Thanks, I read that before, but I must've missed the part about the 42 mins to offload. So I would guess it would take about 90mins or so, depending on the load to turn it around.DaveS

Hi Dave, 2,5 to 3 hrs for a complete off-load and on-load is a reasonable time.If you just have to fuel, 45 mins to 1hr is a realistic value.RGDS

Less than 1 hour turns are pretty common here at FedEx. Depends on the off/on load of freight.
