Is there a reason that the forums are sooooooooooooooo slllllooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww? This post took over a minute from when I clicked the new post button until the edit window came up. No problems with other sites, nice and snappy, just avsim.

What a joke? 270 users as reported on the index forum page has absolutely no bearing on the load being placed on the forums system. Number of people posting at any given moment does; number of read cycles being processed does and just so you don't loose sight of the fact that those are not all that you need to factor into the equation, go to the FSX forum, open "The Sad Truth" topic and then at the very top of the topic click on the "REFERRALS" button. If you find it a joke, don't let the door hit on the bum on the way out. Or, better yet, send us tons of money so we can put a bigger, faster, forum server online.

I can always rely on a response like that from you Tom, thank you very much, do you really think you are going to get a donation after saying something like that. Maybe if you didn't allow all those referrals things wouldn't be so bad right now. Like I've said before AVSIM has gone too far with all the features you have now and the system simply cant cope with it.

Yeah, well, with insightful commentary such as "what a joke", what kind of reponse do you expect? We found the issue. It had nothing to do with referrals or anything else on this board, but a link that we were unaware was taking place.
