Yeah, I thought i heard that too. I cant imagine what I might do once the thing was on the ground. What about the comment somewhere int he middle about the "dead Pilot" ..... that had to be taxing ones thought patterns too.....Again BravoZulu to Mr. White, Websters Dictionary says: " c: a man admired for his achievements and noble qualities d: one that shows great courage"Your a Hero

Unless I missed it nowhere on this tape was a moment when they report that their pilot is incapacitated/dead. Perhaps we got the version that missed the first few seconds...

The recording is just the last 20 minutes. I'm sure he declared the emergency and the reason prior to the recording. However, at one point (closer to the end) he mentions, almost as an aside or to himself, "I've got a dead pilot sitting next to me."
