Hello,I have noticed that with the FS9 MD11, after I get the message to add drag by deploying the spoilers, almost immediately the engines start spooling up, even before the add drag message disappears. This is quite diffferent behaviour to the 747. Anyone else had this issue?ThanksRenzo

I have not seen the add drag appear at the same time that engines increase thrust... but I do see it appear at times when I do not feel that the drag is necessary such as when approaching a fix with speed constraint... we may cross over the fix a little high and a few kts over but we are close enought that ATC would not object. I won't hesitate to use spoilers when necessary, but don't like burning off that extra energy unnecessarily.

You don't say how much spoiler your using in descent. You could always descend in Idle clamp if your not happy with the Profile performance at the time.Rob
