Does anyone know where to get a full original copy of the OSS/Erick Cantu Embraer EMB-120? because OSS site doesn't work. thanks for your help.

Hello, Thank you so much for the info. I did come across that one. But I believe that this is a different one he did or was involved in.the OSS stands for: Online Simulation Solutions, LLC. Copyright 2006, All Rights Reserved. There are about thirty textures for it here on avsim, but no original complete aircraft. The file that David refers to is correct - that is the freeware Emb-120 that I have and it was at one time the OSS model.

The documentation for the model that Opa mentions says the modeling is directly from the default King Air. Is the original OSS model the same way?

I sure do not see that anywhere in the documentation. The only references which I see is that the panel and sounds have been aliased to the King Air and the .air file and performance data are from the same source. Those would have nothing to do with the actual "model" - the model is Eric's work as I read it.

I guess I used the wrong wording. The documentation says...I used the airfile data and performance data from the Kingair so this plane handles and flies just as the default Kingair. This was done to ensure that only the work of the model and texture authors are included in this package.

I just did a quick test flight with this thing and I can only imaging the handling is WAY off. I don't know if something is different in the one I grabbed (which is emb120_261796.zip) or not but holy cow.Here is the aircraft.cfg file. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? (Pic attached.) For whatever reason the outside window doesn't come down far enough. And if I stretch it down, the view changes to the point where looking forward is really looking up.

You need to edit the panel.cfg file to change the size of the default view. This is the setting I have in mine:

That seemed to do it. There wasn't even an entry for Default View.Now if I could just find some decent sounds for this thing I might be set. Only found one set here and I really don't like them at all. While flying the thing sounds like it's at idel the whole time. Even outside.

The volume levels are incredibly low. I have to move the slider up to about 85 before it's somewhat normal.
