April 29, 200917 yr I just made the switch to FSX and purchased the 744X and the MD-11X. I disabled the firewall in vista and the 744 installed with no problems but the MD-11 installer would not validate the order id number.After i tried the copy/paste method a few times, i typed in the number with no luck.Any help would be appreciated!Alex
April 29, 200917 yr I've had a similar problem and am working with PMDG support. That's the only way you're going to get anything resolved when it comes to validation. April 29, 200917 yr Commercial Member If the 744 installs but the MD-11 doesn't, that indicates a problem at the licensing level, not server connection/firewall etc since they use the exact same validation routine.
