Airport Scanner and Vista 32-bit

Featured Replies

Has anyone heard from Jon or has a working copy of the Airport Scanner utility that works with FSX and Vista 32-bit. I contacted Jon quite some time ago, sent him a copy of a log file, but have not heard from him. I'm sure he's busy so I thought I would post this question here hoping someone has a working copy. Thanks so muchfb

Jon is alive and well currently preparing for the release of Airport Design Editor v. 1.4.0 (hopefully today)The link for Airport Scanner can be found here,http://www.scruffyduckscenery.co.uk/I don't think that there are any issues with the current version and Vista32.Rod.

Same opinion here. AScanner works great on my WinXP-x64 rig. I bet for Vista, if you installed it in the Programs & Files folder, you either need to give it full permssions on its folder or disable UAC. Perhaps it's best to install AScanner outside of the Programs & Files folder all together, much like FS and other games to avoid the permissions issues inherent with Vista.

Support for Airport Scanner should be on fsdeveloper.com tools/Airport Design Editor forum.scott s..

Well, Jon thought enough of my post that he requested a log file to see what was going on. I'm sure he was busy trying to get ADE out so its no big thing. I'm just getting so many airports in my system that things are getting out of hand. It would be great to ensure I don't have a bunch of duplicates.
