May 11, 200917 yr Im in the process of re-installing FSX after just upgrading my system to the latest Win 7 RC. However, I forgot how to set the FSX icon to always run as Administrator. I had it before, but forgot what I did. Thanks in advance for any help.Rob

May 11, 200917 yr Try right click button on mouseyRightclick on the shortcurt, choose Properties and on one of the tabs there is an option to let it always run as admin. (Why not tell the whole story, bursco... :( )
May 11, 200917 yr You would save a lot of hassle now and in the future if you just change your User Account privileges to "Admin" in the first place.

(Why not tell the whole story, bursco... :( )Thanks for the replies. However Win 7 RC properties menus are different and it does not have the option to set it to run as administrator. I can right click and select "Run as Administrator", but I have to remember to do it. Before with the earlier beta version of Win7 , I could set it to run that way all the time like it did in Vista. Ill figure it out somehow. Thanks.Rob

May 12, 200917 yr In Windows 7 RC, FSX desktop shortcut does have and option to "allways run as administrator" properties -> advanced and there it is. The original fsx.exe in fsx main directory, wierdly, doesn't have.
